2017 milestone: the most advanced electronic data interchange solution in Romania and Centreal Eastern Europe that connects more than 750 suppliers.
Dedeman is a home improvement store that opened in 1992 in Romania and that operates entirely on Romanian capital. Over the years, the chain saw very rapid development and has opened over 44 hypermarkets across the country.
Launched in the spring of 2014, the project with Dedeman saw a gradual and steady development. In 2015, the company’s flow of waybills, receiving advices and return orders. In 2016, the data transmission flow was upgraded by adding non-conformity reports, return advices, the possibility to activate return invoices and to change the invoice status (approved or rejected, with the appropriate reason).

In 2017 the EDI transmissions will also contain supply reports and an item catalog with updated EDI codes.
Aligning the master data highlighted the discrepancy between prices found in the retailer’s catalog and those in the supplier’s master data. This resulted in a significant decrease in the number of credit notes processed.
Dedeman currently exchanges 9 types of EDI messages and has another two in development. The company currently has the most complex EDI transmission flow in Romania and from Central and Eastern Europe
